Erwin’s fascination with photography began at the tender age of 7 while watching his father in action. With a tendency to grab at anything and everything, it was playtime when he could get his little hands on his dads Canon camera. But it was when he turned 16 that the creative genes apparently inherited from his dad kicked in. Still a high school student at San Beda College, but with a keen sense for business, and under the strict tutelage of his father, Erwin would spend his free time at the back of the studio working on photo lay-outs and touch-ups, at the same time handling the Child Photography aspect of the studio. Moving on to a bigger market 2 years later when he started to work on glamour shots.
It was the year 1999 when the Jr. Buencamino finally decided that his son was ready to back him up during his wedding coverages.
Erwin was delegated the responsibility of full management of the business in the year 2005 when his dad opted to fly to the States with plans of expanding the business.
2010 Brought about a great many changes. One of which was Erwin’s big step into establishing his own name in the Wedding Photography Industry. Now, 11 years since the day of his first wedding shoot he is considered a senior among peers of his age and a veteran when it came to event photo coverage . With the digital aspect of photography’s contant evolvement, this young man’s talent can only get better through time. His own personal style is to merge the classic traditional with the contemporary modern touches of photo journalism.
